A Hillary Music Video That’s not Completely Offensive
The folks that brought us the train wreck that was the “Hillary 4U&Me” music video, chose to slow things down, smooth them out, and release the follow up video, “Hillary in the House,” which is about as “chill” as anything supporting Hillary Clinton will ever get.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that “Hillary in the House” is any good. In fact, it’s not. In trying to prove how “in touch” with modern youth Hillary supporters are, they actually proved the exact opposite. However, if the point of releasing another video was to prove that the authors of “Hillary 4U&Me” could produce a video that would not result in viewers vomiting in the streets–as they did with”Hillary 4U&Me”–then they certainly succeeded.
Now I was one of the early critics of “Hillary 4U&Me,” calling it “An Embarassment to politics, music, and modern dance,” but using a leftover beat from the 1990’s failed rap group US3, “Hillary in the House” took me to task, stating:
“For all y’all in the blogosphere who didn’t want to see ‘Hillary 4U&Me’ we’re still around. You can try and knock me down, but we’re not giving in and Hillary is gonna win.”
Now to the first point, I will concede that yes they’re still around. As for Hillary winning, I don’t know if I see that in the cards. However, as long as there are no plans for the minds who brought us “Hillary 4U&Me” to begin making Obama videos in the general election, I think we can peacefully agree to disagree.
